Can you believe that stores are busting out their Halloween junk already??? Well, at one of the party stores we went to on Ashton’s birthday, he found this little skeleton. He asked very sweetly if he could have it and since it was his birthday, how could I deny him a birthday wish???
He was instantly attached to this thing! After his birthday party, he fell asleep like this….
This little skeleton has become our third kid and I have to tell you….IT IS TOTALLY CREEPY!!!
Ashton happily went to the table for breakfast and this is what I found when I got there…
After lunch, I cradled Emmy in my arms and sang a little song as I walked into her room to put her down for a nap. You can imagine the perfectly sweet moment happening, right? Well, as I headed for the crib, this is what I found. Queue horror music, please….
Just a couple more pictures…
I asked Ashton why he likes skeletons and he said, “Because they’re dead.” Hmmmmmm. HMMMMMMMMM!!!!! How normal is that??? Just wondering.

LOL! I was laughing out loud the whole time I read this. Welp, it turns out your son is going to make some crazy movies and be friends with Johnny Depp.

I don’t know if it’s normal for other families but it’s been normal around here for years. Eli LOVES stuff like that! I think it’s a boy thing. Funny post!

Thank you for your comments, everyone. Katie, thank you for reassuring me of my child’s normalcy. If sweet little Eli loves skeletons then I won’t be worried about Ashton anymore.
