Josh had church responsibilities this morning, so I thought we’d give Jump On It, in Pleasant Grove, a shot. We have been to every jumping place in the valley and I hate to say it, but I DO NOT like Jump On It. Nope. We didn’t even stay for the full hour we planned on. But here are a couple pictures anyway… 🙂
Since we were kind of close, we stopped by The Puppy Barn before heading home. Josh told me about this magical place last night. WHAT?!?! A whole room full of puppies that you can hold and play with for as long as you want?!?!? I MUST GO THERE!You actually have to be 18 to hold the puppies. But the kids LOVED it anyway!!!!! This puppy licked Ethan’s newly buzzed head over and over. It was adorable!!!
The rest of the day, Ashton played with his pals, Emmy played with Jayda, and Ethan kept saying,”Dad, I need a pup!”Josh and I had been scouring the internet for date ideas since Thursday. At 4 o’clock TODAY, I remembered an idea Megan gave us and I made a reservation at THE ESCAPE HOUSE! Eddie and Lindsey had a babysitter but didn’t have any plans for their date…PERFECT! We just needed one more couple so Cari and Doug called a babysitter! AMAZING! With such last minute planning and the bad communicator that I am, we all ended up running errands together for a couple hours (it was still totally fun just to hang out, even at Macey’s). Then we dropped off Charlotte and the groceries and we went to The Escape House for our 7 PM reservation. In the Escape House, you are locked in a room and you have to find clues to help you escape. You have one hour to do this. IT WAS SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!! Here is Lindsey hearing the instructions. The “I MUST WIN” switch had been flipped and she was READY!I am not going to give any hints or spoilers. We did NOT make it out, although we should have and were minutes away. We can’t even go back to try it again because we know how to get out. But there is another room and we will totally go back to try it!Then we went to 180 Tacos to drown our sorrows and frustration in delicious tacos and Portugese donuts.
