This was the extent of my April Fools trickery – mini lunches. I put these tiny lunch bags inside bigger lunch bags, inside their lunch boxes (with a note at the very bottom, under their tiny foods, directing them to the office to get their real lunches)
I had lots of ideas for silly April Fools dinner, buuuuut hey, I never made it to the grocery store. Maybe next year. 🙂 All the kids played outside with their buddies for a while. Then they all came in when it got a little bit chilly.
Annie and I ran all over the mall this morning, trying to get all of the Easter shopping done. She is a good sport and I love my little shopping buddy. I also get to hang out with her when all the other kids are playing with their friends. Today we were on my bed and as she got up, she stood on my hair. I said “Ouch, ouch, ouch!” And she very calmly and reassuringly patted my shoulder and said, “You’ll be fine, Mom, you’ll be juuuust fine.” HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! It did make me feel better, actually. 🙂
