Emmy and our new neighbor, Emma, have been best friends ever since Emma moved in two weeks ago. This morning they set up a Face Painting Booth and made a little bit of money.
Josh woke up bright and early to start painting our deck. It took us ALL DAY and we still aren’t finished. I basically wanted to claw my eyes out during this whole process. I could not stop thinking about the horribleness of the task. The good news is that I am pretty tan now. And yeah, that wasn’t the color we thought it was going to be. Why can’t paint samples TELL THE TRUTH?!?!?!?!
We had our annual HOA Meeting/Dinner. I went for the drama and surprisingly, there was none. Last year was CRAY-ZAY! Oh well. Dinner was yummy and we had good conversations with lots of great neighbors.
This boy didn’t want a nap today. I told him if he could stay happy he didn’t have to have one. By dinner time, he was not happy and just wanted to go home to cuddle. Poor little guy had a hot, hot nap for a while and woke up grumpier than ever.
We put Annie to bed and kept working on the blankety-blank deck until dark.
