On the morning of the 24th, we dropped the kids off at Grammy’s. She took them to the Pioneer Day Parade and had them with her all day. Marisa came to stay with them for the rest of the weekend. Josh and I went to Las Vegas to get away for his birthday.
Then we went to Mystere. It was cool, of course, but Josh and I were both fighting to stay awake, we admitted to each other later. The truth was pretty hilarious. The next day, we went to the Hoover Dam. It was incredible. Um, all the Hoover Dam pictures are on Josh’s phone.
The next day we spent the afternoon at the pool and then went to Michael Jackson:One. Honestly, this is the only show I wanted to see but I didn’t want to force Josh to spend money on something he didn’t LOVE on his birthday weekend. We heard it was amazing, though, so we went for it on our last night in town. Let me just tell you something, IT WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!!! I LOVED EVERY SECOND!!!!
(Okay, maybe not EVERY second. I was sooo distracted and disgusted by the trannie who was the lead ‘woman’ dancer in “The Way You Make Me Feel” that I just looked down or to the side of the stage. I was so grossed out and also jealous of this person’s dance skills, I just had to look away)
