Today I realized that Annie can take her afternoon naps down in the play house while I run on the treadmill. This discovery has created a WHOLE NEW WORLD for Josh and me!!!! We no longer have to have a crib in our closet!!!!!!!! For TEN YEARS we have had some kind of newborn or toddler sleeping in our closet. We have only had this much room to function in our closet…
I no longer have to take showers in the dark, get all of my clothes out of the closet before putting Annie down for a nap or else sit around in my robe until she wakes up, move to another bathroom to do my make-up and dry my hair, or wait to put laundry away. It is THE BEST!!!!!!
Emmy read bedtime stories to Annie. So cute!At 8:00, Josh was getting pretty worried about his eye. When he was working on his dad’s car last night, something got in it and we can’t find it, though it is hurting and irritating his eyeball. He checked all the Instacare places and they were all closed. Our family doctor also closed at 8. Josh left to help his parents move their piano and I told him to call Dr. Esplin, since he was such a good family friend. Dave met Josh at his office at 9:30 PM and checked his eye out. Seems a piece of metal seared it’s way into Josh’s cornea. Dave pulled it out and noticed rust was already forming. He said it is soooo good Josh didn’t go to the E.R. or a clinic. They would have just pulled the metal out and sent him on his way, not taking care of the rust which would eventually be a “big problem”. Dave had to drill out the rust. He couldn’t get all of it so he is hoping as the eye heals, it will push the rust out a little bit. Josh has to go back on Saturday and Dave will drill some more. PRAYING!!!!
