This was kind of a dumb Saturday. It was fun for these guys who just want a day with no errands, no school, and no plans. They played all day with friends while I waited for Josh to get home so I could play.
Josh left early this morning to help with his parents’ renovation project. I thought for sure he’d be home by lunch time. He was there until 6 o’clock! He worked so hard all day and even missed one of the most amazing BYU football games ever! We both missed it and I am so bummed.
When Josh got home at 6, I left with Ashton and Ethan to go see “Jurassic World”. They have been BEGGING to see it all summer. Here is my little gentleman, tying my shoe for me on the way into the theater.
Ashton LOVED it. It was a little too intense for Ethan. Near the end, he asked “Is it almost over” and he sat on my lap through the whole thing. At the VERY END, the most intense part, he sat up and yelled “I KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW! I KNOW HOW TO WIN THE GAME!” He was talking about Westin’s Lego Jurassic World video game. He figured out that he needs to get two raptors to help the T-Rex beat the Endominous Rex. What a smart little guy! He cannot wait to go play Westin’s game. I’m just happy it got him through that scary movie. I am a bad mom.
