Josh gave an amazing testimony to start off our Fast Sunday meeting. Everyone shares great testimonies whenever Josh conducts. He just brings the Spirit with such power. He is amazing and I love him soooooo much!!!!! I didn’t see him at church at all, really. After church we had lunch, I put Annie in bed, I played games with Emmy and Ethan, then Ashton babysat while I went to my scout meeting.
Josh finally came home from meetings and we got to take a tiny nap! WHAT WHAT!!!! A Sunday afternoon nap?!?!?!? This hasn’t happened in YEARS!!! LIKE LITERALLY YEARS AND YEARS!!!! We went to Great Grandma Schroeppel’s for dinner. It was nice to be there with just the Carr family.
As I was down in the basement, memories of Grandma Harris’ condo basement hit me so hard. I was overwhelmed with sadness. My heart literally ached from missing her so much. I still can’t believe she is gone. I was reading Facebook on the way home and Aunt Julia posted that today marks 4 years since Grandma passed away! I am glad I felt that pain so sharply today. I have pictures of her in my living room and I think of her all the time and hope she is proud of me, but today’s feelings were different.
