January 30th
Josh and I got to sleep in this morning…Kind of . Of course we were awakened many times, but we didn’t give up on our bed until 9:30. When Josh got up, Annie said “Daddy’s awake! We can talk loud now!” What sweet kids, huh?!?!?! It was a rainy, snowy, dark morning and it was a little bit depressing, I’m gonna have to say. We cleaned up the house and then grabbed some lunch on the way to the Provo Beach Resort. The boys played Laser Tag…
And the girls played on the playground….
Emmy was SUCH a sweet sister, playing with Annie and helping her do everything. My heart!
We hurried home, but not really because it was practically a blizzard and there were accidents EVERYWHERE. I dropped everyone off at home, then drove Emmy BACK to Provo for Jocelyn Richard’s birthday party at Seven Peaks. I didn’t want to go all the way back home in the blizzard, so I just waited in the parking lot listening to “Killing Lincoln”. When I went back in to get her, Emmy was still skating, having a blast with all her friends! I was sooooo happy and relieved to see that!
We gave Jayda a ride home, stopping at Walmart on the way. These two are such goofballs!
I’m glad we went through the self-check. Emmy and Jayda did all the work and laughed their heads off the whole time. I just kept thinking “What fabulous college roomies they will be!”
While I was with Emmy, Ashton babysat while Josh went to the factory to work on his truck. When we all got home at 5:00, Annie woke up and Josh and I noticed our Fitbit steps were almost exactly the same! Aaaaah, we are so in love.
