Annie took her nap yesterday wearing her tail, she slept in it during the night and it was almost impossible to get it off for church. I did let her wear the top underneath her dress. Hahahahaha!
Today was Corbin’s blessing day. It is always great to get together with all kinds of extended family on days like this.
When we were getting ready for church, I did Ethan’s hair all spikey. He wanted a turn to do his hair and he combed it all straight down onto his forehead. I said “That looks great, E. Let me just fix it a little bit.” He said “No, Mom! I like it like this!” I then said, “Oh, buddy, I have to spike it just a little bit.” He slowly laid his head against the counter and proceeded to cry quietly, I watched his little heart just crumble into a million pieces! Poor little sweetheart! I grabbed him and hugged him and said “ETHAN!!! I’m so sorry! You do your hair however you want!!!” So here is his dapper little hair do and the bow tie he loves the most.
We had a long afternoon and no plans for dinner. At 4, Kassy texted about going to the park for a picnic to eat some meat that Justin had been smoking all day. HECK YES!!! So we all scrounged up some food to share and went to Salem Pond for a last minute picnic. It was FABULOUS!!!!
