Playing early morning Uno
Ashton had Soccer Team Drafts this morning….EARLY this Saturday morning..He did great.
We spent most of the day trying to figure out what to do. Finally, when it was too late to do anything BIG and fun, we headed to the Riverwoods to play Pokemon Go. Well, the boys played while the girls went shopping.
When we were just about to leave, I told Josh I wanted to go into Zions Mercantile. It turned out to be the best experience EVER! It looked like some kind of church art and book store but it was also a RARE book store with many relics and cool things in it. Josh started talking to a lady who worked there and she took us on a private tour and we got to go into a hidden room where we saw all kinds of amazing things!!! There were original sketches by Friberg. There was also a helmet used as a model for his “Mormon Bids Farewell” picture that Ashton and Ethan got to try on!!!!! It was super heavy! It was laying upon a REAL PIRATE TREASURE CHEST!!! SO AMAZING!!!
We hurried home so I could make it to a Cub Scout Committee Meeting at the Richards’. When I got home (Josh was at the factory with his dad), I played outside with the kiddies. Then we went inside and watched The Olympics.
