And just like THAT, it’s OCTOBER!!!!!
We watched General Conference this morning…Austin and Jocelyn came to play with the littles, which was helpful. Things were just a little bit crazy, though. We finally had to get up and do things near the end of the second hour. Josh ran some errands with the boys while I ran errands with Emmy.
Austin ate lunch with E (Annie ate lunch at Jocelyn’s)
We kind of watched the second session but all Josh really, really wanted to do today was go for a RZR ride. It has been sitting in our garage for two weeks UNTOUCHED. He needed to be back in time for Priesthood Session, so we cut the afternoon session short and went out for a drive. Yes, I felt a little guilty.
We grabbed Eddie on our way out and he followed in his RZR. We just went over to a little hilly place in Mapleton. We were having a good old time until Josh very kindly spared us from a huge mud puddle, but tipped us over trying to avoid it. Luckily, all the kids had their helmets on. Unluckily, Ashton’s seatbelts had not been adjusted at all. They were all loose, straight from the factory. He landed really hard, being on the passenger side. He was immediately freaking out, which truly got my heart pounding, thinking his arm was being smashed or something. Everyone was fine, though, and not even two minutes after we all got out, these guys came over the hill in their 4X4 and pulled our RzR upright. It was kind of miraculous. And experiences like this are the reasons why I am super duper scared of breaking rules/commandments. I was shaking for a few hours and I was sooo grateful that nobody was seriously injured. I know, I’m being a little dramatic, but whatev.
