Josh was up early again, drilling holes and wiring the play room for lights and electrical outlets. He had music on and everyone helped clean and get work done. Annie also requested that I play her tummy like a guitar to the Beatles.
We didn’t see Emmy for most of the day. She, Chloe, Aysha and Emily were making and selling slime! She had a great day with them. We didn’t see her until after dinner when all these girls came over to play during the BYU football game.
In the afternoon, after I had cleaned as much as I could make myself, Annie and I made sugar cookies. Annie helped until Jocelyn and Austin came over to play. I made BYU cookies for the Greathead’s (who love BYU) and for Tosha, Rory and the McBrides (who hate BYU). It was hilarious because Ammon has been asking for sugar cookies. After I took this over, he texted Josh and said if it had been ANYTHING other than my cookies, it would have gone into the trash. HAHAHAHAHA!
So the neighborhood kids went kind of nuts at our house while Josh, Ashton and I watched the BYU/Utah game. They had a bonfire and played on all the slides and swings. We shut it all down at about 10.
Annie put her sweet little self to bed.
Daisy cuddled on Ash’s should as he carried her to her bed. Then we watched the rest of the game. BYU lost, as I knew they would, but it wasn’t a HORRENDOUS loss, which was more than I could really hope for.
